I heard people were getting banned for pulling up turnips in for glory mode... Its apart of a moveset who cares if its an item!?

Or to an even bigger extent: Wario's bike. How does Link's bomb avoid that?
This makes the most sense. The bike, Bomb, Banana all register directly to the character as a move. The RNG pull that comes along with the Turnip/Item chance probably messes with the code here for whatever reason.I think it is because Peach has that random chance to actually get an item. I bet that is why it only implies to Peach.
It's more likely they'll patch the code that bans people so it doesn't check peach's v+B , than to go in and patch a move that probably has more lines of code.So now I'm wondering if they'll patch it by having the check ignore Peach's turnip move, or by removing the chance for Peach to pull an item at all if they're turned off?
If I were Nintendo I'd still apply some sort of check since otherwise you'd be practically begging hackers to use Peach as a vector for some cheat or other. But I see your point. It's more likely they'll patch the code that bans people so it doesn't check peach's v+B , than to go in and patch a move that probably has more lines of code.
I didn't mean "completely ignore" the move, but more ignore what is specifically spawned by it. the check can still do a deeper scan to see if any values are tampered with, such as what the move tells the game to spawn in peach's hand, what % chance each possibility has, etc..If I were Nintendo I'd still apply some sort of check since otherwise you'd be practically begging hackers to use Peach as a vector for some cheat or other. Just an FYI, you're next post will be your hundredth, so make it big!I didn't mean "completely ignore" the move, but more ignore what is specifically spawned by it. the check can still do a deeper scan to see if any values are tampered with, such as what the move tells the game to spawn in peach's hand, what % chance each possibility has, etc..
As it is now, it sounds like the game is saying "Spawn this in peach's hand" and the code is saying "hey, that shouldn't be here" without checking -why- it's there.
