A better question might be who is not. Would make for a more interesting topic since I doubt the roster will cause anyone to actually not buy it :s

Why shouldnt i buy it? Because all these girlies are crying: "Oh, this roster ist ********!" or "If Wolf is in Brawl, its the worst SSB ever!" or "If <add stupid character here> is not in Brawl, its the worst SSB!"??

thats a really dumb question...a disapointing roster doesnt mean the game will suck there are a ton of new characters that will defintly be worth playing idk im just saying why would anyone on SWF a smash bros. mainly forum not plan on buying the next instalment at some point?

Of course. Even if I wasn't ok with the roster as it is (and I am) there would always be a character for me to play as. I also agree that by the time it comes stateside most will have calmed down about it

I'm still going to buy it.It's dumb that some people aren't just because a certain character is not in or is in. I still have some people I wanted that aren't in it but for the most part I LOVE the roster. So yes Brawl will be mine March 9!

I don't think anyone here is going to not buy this unless they were really only wanting one character *guesses Geno and Ridley* as playable and doesn't get it.
If this is the case you really don't deserve this game.
Needless to say, I'll still get it the very first chance I get.

Of course I0m still buying it. There isn't really a reason not to, even if some favorite characters didn't make it in. When Brawl is released, all those who said they won't buy Brawl will buy it eventually anyway, that's fact.
Well, it's good in some way, because those of us who won't buy the game because of some very dumb reason don't deserve to play it in the first place, thus, more room for newbies to the Smash series or other people who actually like Brawl as it is, is made and they can get a copy....and be HAPPY with it.

What kind of stupid question is this? Anyone who has posted on this forum and has 60 bucks to blow is buying this game. And for all those people out there saying they wont, youre delusional to say the least. You might not get it at first, but once you see it on display at the game store, or play at a friends house youll want to buy it. This game is that good.
By this time tomorrow Ill have my own copy. If you feel even slightly envious its because you want the game. Admit it. Why make such a big deal out of the roster. People said the same thing about Melee, even though it had way more characters than the original. Yet most of you werent around on SWF back then. Regardless, who can deny now what a masterpiece Melee became.
Brawl will surpass Melee, and if I take a break from playing it tomorrow Ill give you 50 reasons why.

Clones Schmones, yes new chars with new movesets WOULD have been better, but I play Melee everyday, and you know, the clones here are actually executed right, no matter how simmilar they are, they are REALLY different.
I REALLy suck with Fox, I am good with Falco, I cant really do well with Marth, but I LOVE Roy.

Of course I'm still going to buy it. However, I will always know how the game could have just been that much better had Sakurai listened to the fans.

Yeah, I know how it sucks. Ive lived in Japan for sometime, and I remember looking at GTA San Andreas on the net and wanting to play it so badly, but not being able to do so cus I was stuck with a Japanese PS2. I was totally cursing myself for selling off my American one before heading over here.
But not to worry man. Good things come to those who wait. Some just have to wait longer than others though.
Only 15 more hours until Smash is mine.

of course i'm still buying it, i decidedwho i wanted to main as soon as Pit came out, and then i saw Ike, MK and Sonic, and i knew i woudl play as them too, introducing Lucario and bringing back Marth just made it nearly impossible to wait for brawl, i don't care if there are a few characters i don't like on the roster, i just won't play as them SIMPLE AS THAT. and any moron who spits their dummy out and doesn't get brawl because "wolf is another clone of fox" or "Geno/ridley/bomberman isn't playable". boo hoo. i can't believe some people could actually be that childish.

Um, it's a whole different game now.
As for me, I'll buy it. I would love any Smash roster above 25 characters. 25 characters made Melee a diverse game, and 35? Whew, it's going to be a blast!
