So I am getting a 3DS XL in a couple weeks here and I am really looking forward to this game, sadly I will not be getting a Wii U anytime soon so I am going to try my best to have a BLAST on the 3DS version. So if you would like to group up and play when I can just leave a reply with your friend code, also if there are somethings I should be warned about please let me know (I would also like to know about the circle pad breaking issue is that an actual issue for the 3DS XL?)

I'm just gonna assume your aware of any sort of issues by now judging by how old this post is, however I might as well share my experience with Smash 3DS.

The circle pad breaking shouldn't really be an issue if you aren't trying to murder it or something...it intrigues me how people end up breaking it some how. So as long as you aren't trying to purposely break it or something, i'd say you should be fine.

The game was fun for the first few days or so then I just grew bored of it, im glad it didn't end up being a 3DS exclusive and they decided to come out with a Wii U version. All in all it's a great game, my only complain is the online. If I ever wanted to play I'd have to drive up to my grandpa's house and play there because my internet can't seem to handle it for a minute or so without disconnecting and getting me banned from the servers for disconnecting in battle. thankfully, if you ever do plan on getting the Wii U version, this isn't a problem.
