Who will be the next Kid Icarus fighter?

Uprising had enough weapons to enable Dark Pit to have a unique moveset, so that is why I included him in the poll.

Hmmm... well they did alter Pit and Bowser's move sets. Clearly this was done to further prevent any clone issues! The conclusion is clear. Dark Pit and Dry Bowser for SSB4!

Definitely Palutena, assuming KI gets a second rep. She's the most wanted character from KI after Pit by a significant margin.

Magnus or Palutena. Dark Pit would be interesting, but since Pit can literally do everything Dark Pit can do, I assume he's going to stay a color-swap like Daisy is to Peach. Palutena and Magnus, however, are their own characters entirely, and I can see both of them making it in. Magnus, however, I can see more so, seeing as you actually play as him in a segment of Uprising, (or technically Pit controlling him, but you get my point.) If Ike stays, then I don't see Magnus getting in, however Magnus does the two handed sword in one hand thing better than Ike considering his sword is EVEN BIGGER. Plus, I like his attitude. If Palutena makes it in though, pit can finally get a better final Smash, (I'm hoping personally he'll dawn the three sacred treasures to pelt everyone with light arrows.) Palutena is also a boss fight at one point, so I guess she has fighting potential. I'm a bit torn, but either would be cool. Medusa and Hades, however, would be harder to fit in, especially considering they're MASSIVE in Uprising.

I do know that Dark Pit will be in the game... as a costume.

I honestly think Magnus or Palutena are the only ones with a chance. I am going to go with Magnus though. He was one of the playable characters. Palutena is more of a support character. Magnus just seems more likely. There is more to work with and I think his popularity is a little higher. I don't know. If I think about which one fits more as a character in a fighting game. The masculine gruff gritty ripped Magnus makes more sense.

I suspect Palutena to get in myself. Sure Magnus was playable and all but Palutena is lots more important. And those saying they don't think Palutena wouldn't be able to have a good moveset or w/e have probably not played Uprising. She is shown to wield a staff and a shield, that takes care of the regualr attacks just fine. And the magic she used in the boss battle could easily be used as her specials. She jsut makes the most sense. And though Hades would be awesome to have, I would rather have him as a background in a stage with his awesome dialouge instead. xD

I know what you mean. I don't have much faith in Sakurai though. I am still waiting on a Luigi's Mansion moveset with the Poltergust 3000. There is so much potential. However, they just give him a refined Mario moveset. So I don't think they will look at Palutena and say... we COULD do this. I think they will look at Magnus and say we SHOULD do this. I actually want her more. However, I think Magnus is the more reasonable choice.

I'd actually like to see Eggplant Wizard...but that is a very long shot. At least he probably has a chance of being an assist trophy...he would try to turn your opponents into eggplants.

I would love to see either Hades or Medusa playable in the game. The series needs more villains and i would totally love to play as Hades since i think he's an awesome villain and i think he would have some kick ass movesets.

I don't know about Dark Pit. The others stand out a lot more in terms of personality and potential. Granted, Dark Pit will probably be a last minute addition like the rest of the previous clones when they have to decide between one more unique character and several more clones.

I use the word clone loosely, of course.

Probably just Pit for awhile, but I'd either want Palutena or Hades to either satisfy adding a female character or antagonist. Magnus would be cool too though, or maybe even Medusa?

To be frank, I'm scared that Sakurai might not adding any new Kid Icarus characters in the game. At the moment, I would love to see Palutena but I don't think they will get in the game.
