We haven't had enough time with the game to make a proper decision. So, ask this question in a few months.

This is preemptive.

People thought ROB, G&W, D3 were top tier on release in Brawl.

Turns out Diddy, Olimar and Oce climbers were better when they were all around mid tier.

- No one here has been playing with the final build
- We're completely unaware of what a solid portion of the roster can even do to begin with
- No time for character development or time to learn anything period
- *Insert other reasons here* (We're still in the speculation phase)

Even going by what we know now, no character is deserving of a ban. Sorry if this came across as rude, not my intent at all. But like Red Ryu said, "This is preemptive".

This, and presumably no one. The Metaknight ban, while it was a damn near unanimous decision, isn't actually that common of a thing to happen in fighting games. It's saved for very extreme situations. Eventhough we're getting a LOT more characters to work with this time, that may actually DECREASE the chance of a ban situation since you have a higher chance for some mid-tier character (or characters) to be a hard counter to a really effective character that does arise in the uh... *cough*... Meta. So, you have a much higher likelyhood of character variation.

Too early to tell though I can name a few Project M characters who should be banned

Mii Fighters are more likely to be banned but this is because of different reasons. Though I don't believe anyone will be banned here are a couple reasons why I chose Mii Fighters. Also this is my opinion so don't take it the wrong way.

-Amount of time it takes to set up your Mii Fighter.
-Offensive Miis being used in tournament.

Again just couple things that concerned me about the character(s) when I originally saw them.

Meta Knight to make up for the fact that he should have been in Brawl. :denzel:

But really, we don't know enough about the game yet. Hopefully everything is balanced well and we don't have to worry about anything.

yes but they could easily set up the Mii Fighters before the tournament. Yes that may be a problem that they can make there Mii's very overpowerd but i still think they won't be banned.

The Mii Fighters may not be balanced though what i've seen of them it looks like they may be banned.

@ JanitorOfHyrule JanitorOfHyrule I'll go ahead and lock this thread up since the only true answers people can give are "it's too early to tell" and I'd rather avoid any potential arguments of people coming in to bash you for making a topic like this, this early. Again, it's baseless discussion, and it's not the first time this type of thread has shown up, they never go over well.

TL;DR - We don't have the game and just don't know enough to really discuss this at this time.
