Hi everyone, I'm new here.
Lately I've been starting to remember a game I used to play as a kid. I never learned the name of the game because I was too young back then, but I believe it was on the NES.
I can't remember clearly what it was all about, but from what I remember, the first level felt like a Western movie (It was not Fievel Goes West) and I think after a couple of stages, you fought robots. I also believe at some point there was a church you could only go in at daytime, and it was closed at night time. (But it was not Simon's Quest)
I know it's pretty vague, however recently I found this picture of a Nintendo character. It's a blue cat, and he is dressed like a classic Western movie hero. I started to wonder if he could have something to do with the weird game I am talking about.

If anybody here knows this character or even the game he comes from, could you tell me?
