Who is the most 1 to 1 character?

Which characters moveset comes out pratically 1 to 1 to the players input? It seems like mario, yoshi, lucina, maybe even ganadorf can always shield when I want to, attack when I want to, dodge when I want to, but which is the most responsive? Diddy?

What a bizarre question. When you jab, your character jabs. When you shield, they put up shield. If your character feels unresponsive, then it's an issue with your controller, not the character. All I can get out of your question is which character feels the best to play. And we can't answer that - try them all out.

All characters shields come out the same time, and drop at the same time. Air Dodges start within 2 frames of each other but usually last the same amount of time during invincibility.

Now, if you're wondering who comes out as close to your command? That's frame data. The lower your frame data is, the faster your moves come out compared to your command.

For example

Little Mac's jab is frame 1. It starts on frame 1 and has full reach at frame 2.

Diddy's down tilt is frame 4, so compared to Little Mac's jab, it hits 3 frames later. 1/20th of a second, but it's noticable.

Yeah I just wanted to know what others feel. thanks mario, great thoughtful response, sorry if I didnt explain the question right. I figured people may get confused by the post.

Like I noticed not ever character isn't as responsive. For example when playing with megaman I have a hard time activating my shield after doing an aeriel because of landing lag, thus he's less responsive. Toonlink is the same. The opposite example some characters when hit can attack right away like yoshi, or mario/ ganadorf, lucina thus seem more responsive. This question I can tell will probably garnish negative responses as usual with most of my bizzare questions and theories lol. You'd think as much as I play this game Id be better at expressing my questions.

What you said Mario made 100% sense. No thanks alot man.

So it seems it's not really an issue of responsiveness, but you just needing to get a feel for autocancel windows/landing lag and buffering.
