Well, that's quite true, Dastrn. C# .NET is literally just Microsoft's version of Java. Even down to the syntax. C# is nearly copy-pasteable into Java.

As AltF4 said, C# is basically Java, except with function pointers and operator overloading. Its why I love it. Treating get/set methods as class variables is good too.
