Who else prefers Fox's N64 attire?

His new StarFox: Command look for 'Brawl isn't that bad, but it's a bit too polished. Big eyes, tight pants, an eerie smile... Almost doll-like. Does anyone else worry about this?

The only way for Fox IMO is Starfox 64 style, like in Smash 64.

While the Adventures look probably had the most personality, his Command look is leaps and bounds ahead of his Assault look, which looked like he was made of Styrofoam thanks to the sudden lack of fur which seemed rather abundant in Melee and even more so in Adventures.

Plus also Command Fox kind of incorporates all of his looks together, along with traces of his original get up. That's a train of thought I hope gets applied to other old characters like DK; while his normal Konga and cameo game look he's had for the past generation is somewhat nice, it's kind of bland, while the Jungle Beat version looks more realistic and more personality, but comes off looking too goofy. Combine the two together and vola, a new and improved model for DK.

DK is the character in most need of an update visually.

Yeah. He still has the dopey ape look from the SNES era concept artwork. I feel embarassed on DK's behalf.

Yeah, his model didn't change at all from SSB -> Melee.

Fox's face in command looked queer. the way they redid it for Brawl though was amazing. it gives him more of a dark look. this whole game looks much darker than the other two.

fur color=darker
face=more sinister, thus darker.
gloves=darker

darker clothing gives people a darker impression. ask the goth kids.
(along the same lines, Mario's overalls are darker.
