Who are the best non-legendary/starter water and fire pokemon for ruby?

I want a new main water and fire pokemon but i dont know who to use. any advice?

i dont have leaf green/ fire red so they can only be pokemon in ruby. but thanks.

The advanced games really do lack usable fire Pokemon. The closest you'll come to usable is probably either Ninetales or Camerupt. Yea, they're not too hot, but when you look at your only other choices... (Torkoal and Magcargo). As for waters, Gyarados for physical sweeping, Ludicolo/Milotic for tanking and being a ***** in general, or Kingdra for special sweeping. Tentacruel could work too, but without FRLG tutors, it's =(.

i was thinking about using ninetales. as for water im not really sure, im still actually building my party so im not sure what kind of position ill need from my water pokemon. but thanks for your input.
