White controllers flick back problem.

Hey. For anyone with a white controller, has you been able to break it in enough to remove the flick back problem? By flick back problem I'm referring to the problem when you try to do something such as a reverse laser with Falco and you flick the control stick in a direction and it "flicks back" past neutral and causes you to do a normal laser in the direction you were going instead. I've been using my white controller for at least 1-2 months and I'm still getting this problem.

I was mostly wondering if it's just a matter of breaking it in even more, or if the white controllers analog sticks are doomed to flick back forever.

Thanks.

I haven't really had this issue myself, and I use the official white controller.

Maybe you just need to practice your techskill and adjust to the way the controller acts and feels?

Yep had same problem. Tried 3 different white ones and had this same problem. Although some have noted that this isnt a problem for them. This is one of the reasons I am trading my white controller I used for a couple of days, for 2 other ones. Any takers?

I have this exact problem, except it happens with any controller I use. I could use someone else's controller who doesn't have this problem and the problem persists. It's a super annoying problem and I've been trying to solve it in some way forever. ANY WAY. It's so frickin' annoying.

My roommate and I bought two official white controllers the same day, same vendor. He has this issue quite often (it looks pretty hilarious sometimes in game), but I never seem to. We always play together so it doesn't seem to be an issue of "breaking it in."

Since people have had this issue with multiple controllers, as well as still having the issue when switching to controllers that aren't known for doing this - perhaps the issue stems with the player.

Maybe try altering your mechanics slightly? Watch a friend do it to see if there is anything they are doing that is a little different. I could see how this could be very problematic for the consistency of your game, it really frustrates my roommate.
