So I'm hearing that once these guys reach level 50, you got some God-tier computer players. Two questions.

-Can you use two amiibos at once? Like, you can a friend fight with you each having an amiibo on your team?

-Which two should I get? I don't want to buy more than two, and it has to be from the ones out right now.

-Yes

- Suggestions: Mario and Link for the basics

You're all nerds
buy samus four times, rip the arm cannons off of 3 of them, rip 3 limbs off of 1 and replace them with cannons

Usually I wouldn't care for Marth but now that he is rare-ish, I want him now . He's sold out everywhere.

Might get wii u trainer, would never play as her but having her beat friends up would definitely bring lols.

If you are really good with any of the characters with the first wave, you should get them.

You'll be able to train your amiibos that much more efficient if you know that character intimately.

I suppose. I'm really good at Link, so I feel I should get him to train him up, but at the same time, I plan to use these to fill u the 1-2 CPU spots when I play with friends. Would be boring if they were the same old characters we use every time.

If you own Hyrule Warriors or ever plan on getting it in the future then Link should be the first one you get.

Of you do not care for Hyrule Warriors then just pick you two most favourite characters. If you don't have a favourite character, then Link and Mario are not bad options to begin with.

Is there a special reason for this? (I haven't heard anything of the sorts before)

There's some rumblings about the other Zelda characters (or at the very least Zelda herself) getting similar treatment down the line. That's not at all confirmed but yeah Link at the very least holds some extra value in Hyrule Warriors.

Link is technically the most valuable amiibo right now since he's also supported in Mario Kart, but the Mario Kart stuff is just purely cosmetic. Some of those mii costumes are pretty cool though, like the Captain Falcon and Kirby ones, they're something to consider as a little sweetener if you're already leaning towards one of those characters and have Mario Kart. In the context of just Smash though, I'd just pick the characters you'd most want to own a figure of.
