We're all mature here, so we can talk about our stinker rituals.
Whether you're a Twitter guy, phone games, crosswords, old fashioned newspaper reader, or maybe even so old fashioned you read the Shampoo bottle ingredients, we've reached progression in human evolution where we have to do something while on the toilet.

I for one enjoy a healthy mixture. I'll play a match of Mario Kart 7 online, or I'll check out social media, or I'll bang out a chapter of Game of Thrones. But now the Wii U came through and changed EVERYTHING!

I have been mid race in Mario Kart 8 when nature calls. Now normally for a console I'd have to back out or risk my britches by holding it. Now I can switch to off tv play and continue racing as seat upon my throne.

Now here is the tough question... what will you be bringing with you?
We all know that all through October the answer will be the 3DS. But the Wii U release will change the game.
You can switch to the gamepad and go, but does the HD on the gamepad really do the game justice?
Is your washroom too far away from the system that you lose connection?
Do you not want to mess up your **** rituals by bringing in a new option?
Or would you see it as an opportunity to brush up on your rusty 3DS skills?
Will you be that guy who leaves his 3DS on the back of his toilet only to use it for Smash ****s?

We've reached a huge moment in history where we now have the option to choose which version of Smash Bros. we get to play on the toilet... and I for one think that's pretty cool.

I only use the toilet for its intended purpose.

No seriously, people actually bring things into the bathroom? You can put the phone down for five minutes, Christ man.

I've never been in the bathroom so long that I feel I should take my 3DS much less the gamepad hahaha.

Now why would I play on the toilet? What about all the bacteria?

Well, I'm vegetarian so unfortunately my fiber intake is sufficient enough that my bowel movements are typically over far too quickly for even the shortest three stock game.

I used to bring games into the bathroom while waiting for the "other shoe" to drop, which can take a while sometimes, but for some reason I never really have time to get decent gameplay in. I have to clean up, which I don't like to do with my 3DS in the room since running water + active electronics is bad. In the end it's more hassle than its worth.

It's kindof a crapshoot (no pun intended) on whether or not I'll be there for a while, and I can't really predict it, so I've given up on taking electronics to the throne room.

I have yet to test if my Wii U will stay connected while I'm in there. Hmmmmm........... I should brew some coffee

If it works, 3DS will be for work, Wii U at home.

O on the eve of such glorious days are we!

My bathroom is ride outside my room, past the wall closest to my Wii U setup. The signal reaches.

Since I'll probably be playing Smash Wii U already when I have to go to the bathroom... yeah, probably that.

What am I saying

I thought this was a joke, but then it spawned some serious and logical discussion....I don't know what to say.....

I'd play the Nintendo 3DS on the toilet if it is below my standards.

If it meets my standards I will be playing it as soon as I wake up and while I'm eating.

If it passes my standards I'll have to get sleeping pills and give someone the keys to my gaming drawer at night.

I've long ago evolved past the need for fecal splooshing.

But I'll probably play on the toilet anyway, because then I can sit and have my bits hang freely.

Uhm... I'm embarassed to say much of anything here. But I don't need to stay in the restroom playing my game. I can put it down to relieve myself. Proper.

One time I played Pokemon while going to the bathroom, and I ended up sitting in there for over two hours.
I've dove it at least once every week since I was little and got my Gameboy Advance SP (i'm not kidding)

Which Smash Bros. version will you play on the toilet?

The better question is which one we're going to flush.

OP's post is a glorious beautiful connection of words, that I wish to print out & frame, & show my kids one day. I teared up. It's pure poetry.

on topic, I wish my connection from Wii U to bathroom was sustainable, but alas, it isn't, so I'll be smash ****ting on my 3DS

We should write to our political representatives to get 3DS and Wii U gaming setups installed inside public washrooms and port-a-potties.

Lying about my country.
Because of the unnecesary "preparation" for something that'll only take a couple of minutes, bringing stuff to the toilet ends up being more of an annoyance rather than a way to improve something no one ever had any issues doing.

Seriously, playing games while on the toilet sounds almost like a chore to me.
