Which series are first and which are second parties?

I've always wondered about which nintendo series are considered first and second party. I know the difference between both definitions but can't classificate all of the series in this two categories. Anyone have this notion?

pokemon is a second party. Mario, zelda, metroid, pikmin, and donkey kong are first

Out of the series that have playable characters in smash, Pokemon is the only second party.

All others are first or third.

as i understand it, series owned only by nintendo are first party and ones that nintendo share with another company are second party

So where do characters like Diddy Kong and Kirby, developed by Rare and Hal respectively and since then always handled by second parties fit in?

Although not a playable character (at least not in Brawl), Isaac and the Golden Sun franchise is second-party.

diddy's completely owned by nintendo so im sure he's first party
