Which controllers work with the PC adapter?

I ordered the same adapter (but through Amazon) and had the same problems with it. In fact, the seller ended up sending me a total of three adapters until I got one that was working with my controllers. I tested the adapter on a newer gray one, an old gray one bought with the system, and a clear purple. If I'm not mistaken, I think that the adapters that work have a gray ps2 port instead of a black one, but they may have all been gray.

My advice would be to go here:

and explain the issue with your order number. My correspondence with the seller ended with him able to identify adapters that malfunction with particular controllers and he sent me a new one that worked properly. As far as I know Nintendo is not selling n64 controllers from their store anymore.

I have that adapter, and had problems with it too until I messed with the settings and got it to work.

What problems did you have? And what settings did you mess with?
The analog stick would go crazy for no reason, and it would register buttons being pressed even if I wasn't pressing them.

First, open up the control panel. Then go to Game Controllers. Then when you see your adapter on the menu, click properties. Then at the top click settings, and then calibrate. It should work after that. If it doesn't, keep messing with the different settings and stuff.
