Which character is the most popular in your area?

So there's always that one character (or more) that everyone uses, and I was curious on who that person is in other parts of the world.

Here's my group.

Melee: (Young) Link
Brawl: Kirby, Toon Link, Pikachu
3DS: To be determined. At the moment, it is mostly Little Mac and Kirby.

Seems to me that the cute(ish?) characters are the more popular in my group (excluding Little Mac). LM is probably popular because people realize how cheesy of a character he is in a new mind-set.

Hm, they group I play with usually use Fire Emblem characters, though we all have a distinctive main as well. I'm Little Mac, then there's an Ike user, a Greninja guy, and that one kid who just clicks random every match.
