Where to find people to play in person?

I'm kinda tired of having to play online and adapt to dreadful lag. Does anyone want to play regularly with me in person? Or even better, does anybody know of a way to play with different people around where I am? I'm 19 and living with my parents, so that would be a lot better for me.
