Where my PDX smashers at??

First of all, sorry if i'm in the wrong section - I'm slightly forum illiterate.

I just moved up to Portland from Los Angeles, and it looks like the melee scene is not as active as i'm used to. I've heard about Best Bout, but looks like that's on hold too, and it seems that any tournaments in Oregon are quite a ways from the Portland Metro area.

WHERE ALL MAH SMASHERS AT?

I'm always looking to smash, but being new to the area (I don't know anyone up here at all) hinders.

The scene is a little slow right now, it was bigger a couple months ago; we're just in a rough patch. I can think of five people off the top of my head in portland who'd be up to smash anytime. I live half an hour out of portland so it's not that easy for me all the time.

That's too bad, hopefully it picks up soon.
