In a match with quick characters, say a C. Falcon ditto on Dreamland, where do you go when your opponent re-spawns and has invincibility frames? I usually try to jump up and sometimes land on the platforms, and sometimes fall through them to keep my opponent guessing, though occasionally ill be caught with an up air or an up smash. Another decent option seems to be shorthopping to a ledge, since you get a few options (various techs, fairing onto the stage).

DL usually ledge hang is one of the better options. Hyrule top of the tent is nearly impossible to get hit if played correctly.

If I could change one thing in smash it would be the length of invincibility, it really pisses me off. I usually run to the edge and plank until it wears off or else run to the right side and then dash right through them to the left.

i like the invincibility, i try to take advantage of it as much as possible.

on the flip side, besides hanging on the ledge if you are falcon or fox you can usually run away in circles, jiggs and rat can air camp, usually each character has their own options. dk is the one character where you pretty much have to hang on the ledge with.

It's funny when you see some players spacing when they have invincibility lol

On Hyrule I usually stand in the middle of the map and then once they start approaching I run into one of the pits, which usually gets them to back off for a neutral position lest they wish to get Ness utilited.

DL I stand on top platform, dash left/right shield drop fast fall, rejump back once they drop trough themselves. Alot of the times people are too nooby to react and you'll get a good/bad position depending on what matchup you're playing.

sometimes on dreamland i'll run to the side, jump on a platform then double jump to the other side of the stage, or fake out and fast fall back down. usually works

stand in place and taunt, because there's no escape. this could also frustrate them and make them slip on their technicality leaving them open.

Killing yourself after taking a stock off your opponent could actually make for some interesting mindgames

Or maybe it would just resemble DS mindgames which sucks, speaking of which I hate ds mindgames
