Isaac is basically unplayable and the same goes for Sami. Lyn and Knuckles are playable and seemed close to finished.

Uplayable is a strong word, they do function, but you can very easily tell they aren't finished.
I say the best course of action would be for the community to work together to finish these characters, then maybe we can have a final build and leave the game to develop meta, I'd honestly hate it if we just abandoned these characters.
