I've been digging though the dozen topics about this, but I haven't really found an answer. Now then, I've seen the picture of the supposed Japanese Brawl disk, and the TV screen shot of the starting roster. I see that. What I don't get is where we got the idea for the 35 character roster, which includes R.O.B. Where did that come from?

Again, I apologize for another stupid topic on the matter, but if someone could answer my question, feel free to close this then.

Well respected insiders from various message boards have stated that the final game has a full roster of 35 characters (counting Zelda/Sheik and Samus/ZSS as single characters) and 41 stages. People in charge of making sure those guys aren't talking **** and spamming are saying that they're legit.

The disc thing is totally separate.

I believe both members face permanent banning from NeoGaf if they are wrong, so that lends credence to their argument as well.
These aren't just 1-post noobs either, these are well-respected posters who wouldn't blow their accounts on a joke. (NeoGAF accounts require months of validation waiting time and a non-free e-mail account, so it's not a petty thing either).
