When i Install character mods my wii frezzes

Well it frezzes when i select the VS mode. I have no idea what i did with my CSS. Is there a size limit or something and i put in too many portraits?

okay, it seems like the problem is with css portraits, the way you properly add them is you have to export the CSS picture from brawlbox, and open it in paint.net, then you will have to also open the picture that you want the css picture to look like. copy the picture, and paste it onto the css photo, press "keep canvas size", then resize it to the size of the css photo. thats how you make css photo's

The CSPs need to be the same size as the ones already in the game. Download BrawBox (you can find it on the internet). Once its downloaded open it and click open at the top. Locate the character CSPs (projectm -> pf -> menu -> char_bust... -> open the character CSPs that you modded, which you can find a list of whose is whose online.) Check each individual CSP and make sure it is CMPR and reencode each one to the dimensions 128 and 160 respectively. If modding the BPs, 48 and 56. After that it should work
