Maybe they can show a trailer or two in November/December to get people hyped for the Smash Bros, and actually interested in the Wii U.
Yeah, it doesn't come out until a year from now, but there is no denying that he Wii U is performing terribly and Nintendo will do anything they can to garner interest. It is in their best interest to get people talking about it around the holiday season. It is not crazy to say that Smash Bros is the Wii U's life-line. As expected, Pikmin 3 sold less than 100k copies in Japan in its first week, and I can't honestly see the upcoming forecast doing much better. In short; it is likely they will push out greater amounts of interest when it is more opportunistic.
