When do you think the full roster is going to be leaked??

The full roster will probably be leaked at least a week before its supposed Japanese release: November 22nd.

I believe Sakurai said he wants to reveal the whole roster himself... So it'll probably be before anybody can get their hands on Brawl anywhere.

I think he meant early November. Brawl is coming out the 3rd of Dec. which is pretty early.

I'd say it depends on the release date of Brawl in Japan. If rumors are right and it is the 22nd I'd have to say it would be probably 2 weeks ahead of the release date.

I remember my friend saying the Melee list was leaked on the release date but Nintendo made them take it of their site. Can't remember which site my friend said it was. After that the list was finally released around 3 days later when Nintendo's guide came out.

If the game comes out at the same time in Japan as it does in the US, I'm going to try to stay away from it as much as possible. In fact, there's the chance I might simply get the game, play it, and not come back to this site until I unlock everyone just so I won't accidentally spoil it for myself. Of course, whatever they confirm on the main site I'll be sure to watch for. That's a given.

Let me think... I was here for the 'unveiling' of the entire roster back in the Melee days... hrm...

I believe around a week or so around the release date in Japan is when the full roster started popping up. Of course no one believed it at that point (lots of, "Who the heck is Martha?" and "Mr.Game and Whatnow?") and of course NO ONE believed Mewtwo would be playable...

Then we got some screenshots of Ganondorf and Dr.Mario, which many people thought were fake... someone kept going on about giving the characters specific 'tag' names and then he'd believe him... also lots of whining about, "Ganondorf looks like he's going through the platform, that shot can't be real!"

Within a week of that event, someone managed to snag access to the IGN exclusive movies that were just coming out, showing the hidden characters and stages.

Someone needs to make a spoiler free unlocking guide that does NOT say who you're actually going to unlock, just the method.

e.e I don't think I'd spoil the whole character list for myself persay; but I'd have to know if my top 3 picks are in. (Mikaya, Lucario and King Dedede).

I would say that the list will come out whenever the game is released first. If the game comes out in Japan first on the 22nd of Nov than I am NOT going to any forums about smash/ sites about Smash-Nintendo or even going to talk to anyone about smash at my smash happy college til it is released.

By that time I should have Mario to play so I don't think I will need to talk about Brawl for awell.

(But ****, a good amount of the people at my college like smash so if I over hear enuff spoilers in the labs in their talks than I might say screw it and go youtube hunting)

Edit- just took into account that people have to actually get the game to review it like a month before it comes out. Thats one thing that happened with TP. Some reviewer got hammered well playing with his buds and blogged about cutscenes up to half way in the game before nintendo told his blog owners to make his blog go bye-bye and the forum he was posting on band his account.
This was like one week or so before the game came out so there may also be these type of people to worry about. And just think about what would happen if something like this where to happen for smash? There would be no spoiler tags like for most of the TP spoilers when people posted spoiler topics from that drunk a hole. Smash forums are on a whole other level on the nsided and even here when it comes to info.

I could totlely see some random fan-boy making a thread titled "HAhAHA! I told you {insert random character no one thought had a chance} would get in!!! Screen shots in thread!!!".
