In this thread there are SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS ZOOMING AROUND EVERYWHERE!

Ok so let's all get together and pool our little theories: What's the last unknown Horcrux? Is Snape really a bad guy? Who's going to die? How in the heck is a loser like Harry going to destroy all those Horcruxes and kill Voldemort?

For info, look at the Information from Rowling section here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deathly_Hallows

Here's my own theories:

Hogwarts: It's going to take a large role in Deathly Hallows, I mean it has been the center of every single book so far, but I don't think it will be important as a school to Harry. Rowling says there won't Quidditch games, so that leads me to think Harry isn't going to be a regular student there.

Dumbledore returns in some form or another. I mean, his darn Patronus is a phoenix, he's got to come back. Remember how his body burst into flames, just like a phoenix after it dies? I'm not saying body and all, but he's too cool to just let go.

Snape: the first time I read Half-Blood Prince I was sure he was on Voldemort's side. I recently read it again and now I'm not so sure. It's like this: when Draco, and then all those other Death Eaters came to kill Dumbledore, he was calm and collected; at this time Dumbledore still trusted Snape, so he wouldn't start whimpering for his life the moment Snape appeared. He was "pleading" all right, but he was pleading for Snape to kill him, not let him live. Remember when Hagrid said Dumbledore was mad at Snape because Snape said he didn't want to do "it," but Dumbledore said he already promised to? That hasn't been explained yet, and I'm convinced Dumbledore wanted Snape to kill him for some reason. It may have something to do with returning all phoenix-like(like the lion in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) or helping Harry in some way, but for some reason Dumbledore needed Snape to kill him. Dumbledore deliberately froze Harry INSTEAD of Malfoy, remember.

Harry must die. This isn't a new theory, but after reading the 6th book again, it makes sense: Harry is the unknown Horcrux. Voldemort marked Harry "his equal," as in sharing a portion of his soul. Harry gained all those Voldemort powers and shared his emotions and all that...and it all started after he murdered Lily Potter. Maybe Voldemort did it as a safeguard; the Chosen One (god what a cliched phrase) can't kill him if Harry's got to kill himself first, eh? But the theory has a lot of holes too...I mean, Voldemort could have just killed Harry and been done with it (or so he thought). And why would he use the killing curse on Harry, as a baby and in book 4, if it meant destroying a part of his soul?

Ginny: Harry is an idiot for breaking up with her.

Those are all I can remember at the moment. Of course, even if they are kind of correct, they can't be entirely right, since there's going to be new information in the last book that nobody could foresee, making this whole effort a waste of time (well, except for that last one. I don't care what happens in Deathly Hallows, Harry is an idiot). But post your own anyway!

An extremely well presented theory I must say, but it seems you dont have an idea on why, which is odd as I thought you would, how about acting as a mole within the deatheaters?
