I don't know why, but recently I've been getting really self-conscious about my appearances. I'm noticing random crazy **** like my eyelash length, the size of the pores on my chin, etc. Stuff I've never given an ounce of thought to before now.

I'm starting to fear not being accepted by people because of how I look. I want to be comfortable around people so I at least want to do something to look better, but I'm unsure of whether or not I'm gonna screw something up and make a fool of myself. Its like I'm stuck in an IRL frame trap or something and I can't get out. x.x

I'm kinda scared that I'm gonna freak out one day and shave my eyebrows off or something else violent. :/

I hate that. I myself deal with not being comfortable in my skin every now and then because I'm not as dark skinned as the rest of my family.

My advice is to not worry about it too much. If people haven't said anything yet, I wouldn't do more than keep yourself looking pretty or whatever it is you do.

If you want to look better, do it for yourself instead of others, imo.
You'll feel better about yourself if you care less about the thoughts of others and just make sure you look as good and you want to.
