What's with the 'Music Hackers'?

So, I've seen videos showing custom music that people have installed on to their 3DS or Wii U versions. Then, I scroll on down in to the comments and see people asking what I'm thinking, "How do you do that?" Then, the uploader replies saying, "I don't know!" or some bull****. So, can music be hacked on any version? Or is it a load of crap? I need the Meaning of Truth in Smash damn it!

Not sure about that, it takes a special skill and software to do it.

It isn't bull****, music hacking is legit. Taking the time to explain how it's done for every youtube commenter is pointless when the methods for doing so are still pretty complicated. All in due time.

I also think they aren't explaining how to do this because it's illegal, and the video would be taken down if they explained the full process instead of just showing the result.

Brawl modding and Wii hacking has existed for years with in depth tutorials already available. That's not why they're withholding the information.

Gotta keep mum about these things for a reason.

That and for whatever reason some people's comments asking me these things literally do not have an option for me to reply to them on Youtube from time to time which is odd.
