What's up.

[Madotsuki]

I am Madotsuki, a Ness main who constantly aspires to get better. I knew about Smashboards for a while now, but joined recently thanks to some advice I got from a friend who's also on this site.
Madotsuki is actually my secondary name, but some inactive person already took nin10 on SB.

So, some details about me.

• I first got into Smash Bros. when my older brother came home from Anime North 2008 with Melee. The very first character I chose was Kirby. He's stuck with me all the way up to now, and is my second main right after Ness, who I started playing later on. (Melee low tiers ftw)
  
• I got Brawl in early 2011 and eventually picked up Toon Link as one of my Brawl mains. After some time, I fell out of Smash until late 2013, when I discovered the gaming club in my high school. The people I met (who are now my friends) thanks to the club got me interested in competitive Smash.
  
• The only tournaments I've been to were a minor Brawl tournament at Anime North 2014 and Enthusiast Gaming Live in Mississauga this year. I'd definitely attend more if I didn't have problems like transportation and tournament nerves.
• I play a lot of Touhou. I also play Persona and BlazBlue, though I'm bad at them and only play those two for fun.
• I listen to a lot of Linkin Park. I love all their music.
• I favor English dubs in anime over Japanese dubs.

Yep, only I'd have such a weird combination of interests.

I tend to prefer English dubs in anime too, primarily for the sake of multitasking and being able to hear what's going on while I'm in another window, lol. I only do subs in some occasions (like the newest episode of the JoJo anime for instance)
