What's up, SmashBoards? I'm excited to be here. I'm a college student at UMD, and Smash Bros. has been a part of my life ever since I was little. Many years ago, I bought Melee on a whim (back then I wanted every GC game I could get my hands on), but I'm so glad I did. I bought Brawl as soon as it came out, and although I don't have a Wii U, I made sure to pre-order Smash 4 for my friend/roommate who does.
Young Link was by far my favorite in Melee, and Toon Link was my favorite in Brawl. I have yet to decide who I like in Smash 4, but again Toon Link is definitely up there. Lately, I've also been getting really into Jigglypuff (Hungrybox is my idol), and of course there's always Captain Falcon... I suppose the point is I have no idea who I want to main.
Honestly, it's been a while since I really played any type of Smash, but I recently watched the Smash Brothers Documentary on YouTube and got hyped to play Melee all over again. I can truly say that the worst decision I have made in my life was not bringing my GC to college this year. However, I got really lucky and I'll have it back after Labor Day. I've never been more than a casual gamer, but I want to practice and improve my Smash game and maybe even go to a tournament one day. I'm just hoping school won't get in the way
Thanks to everyone who makes the SmashBoards community possible, I'm looking forward to joining in!
Excited to watch Paragon LA 2015 this weekend. Cheers!
