What's the weirdest thing you've seen from a CPU? (When you were playing)

Title says it all.

I've never seen anything weird from a CPU when I was playing, TBH.

while fighting a lvl 3 dr mario, i kept double jumping as lucina (it was interesting me for some reason), with both of us at 1 stock
suddenly, the match ended and i won
confused, i made a replay to figure out what happened
apparently, the dr mario doctor tornado'ed offstage, used his neutral special, and tried to recover, but it was too late

Since I never train Amiibos with items on, I played a three stock magch on final destination with a level 50 Amiibo...... With items on high. I figured, since I never trained it with items, it would act like they wren't do and lose terribly......

......Apprantatly it knows absoluty everything about items

I found that out myself while spectating some amiibo only matches. You can try to train your amiibo all you want, but your training will just be thrown away in the end.

Level 9 Rosalinas seem to have very little/ no idea on how to use Luma. If Rosalina herself isn't able to attack you, it seems be an extremely rare/ non-existant event for the CPU to hit you with Luma.

In higher difficulties, such as Crazy Orders and Classic 9.0, I often see CPU Sheiks just crouch in one spot for several seconds, especially if they are in giant form. I have no idea why this persists so frequently.

A few things;

Game & Watch knows how to Wavedash - Classic 9.0 Gaur Plains (3DS)
Happened like twice
He's just a bag of tricks and IDK how he does it
- - - - -
amiibo w/ Platforms - Any Custom Stage with at the very minimum of 2 Platforms
They just have a field day and go in complete circles on platform-heavy custom stages
And are too busy jogging to focus on the fight :drshrug:

Items
Ever put 2 Level 9 Fox's in a fight against eachother, toss a Beetle at one of them and see what happens?
Frame-perfect Reflectors.
I don't even know.

amiibo seem to learn from CPUS more than they learn from you
That's from my perspective, at least.
Also, das a cute Icon you're using

Turn custom equipment on and give a fighter shield exploder effect and make the rest defense raisers.

Now set that fighter as a level 9 CPU and try to get one physical hit in.

I typically avoid setting CPUs to a hard level if they're using customs, but I have noticed that they tend to lack the knowledge of using moves that can actually help with their recovery. For an example, Palutena hardly ever uses Angelic Missile to recover, while Ganondorf never even tries to use Wizard's Dropkick for his recovery.

They are also bad at edge guarding. By this I mean they aren't willing to take the risk of going offstage to hit you more. However I've found CPUs in general to footstool you in their attempts to grab the ledge while you're going for it too. They also footstool their teammates in the mii fighter modes.

Also if you give a CPU high speed and you're up high in the air, the CPU will pivot back in forth in order to straighten them self out and prepare to up smash you.

Lv 9 CPUs do this in general after launching you.

One other thing i've noticed about lvl 9 Falco. He always shoots his Lazer three times. Not four times, not two times. Always three....

The weirdest thing to me is that the CPUs actually crouch repeatedly (t-bag). It looks incredibly funny, but it's certainly odd coming from a CPU.

I've seen Wii Fit Trainer, Samus, and Lucario B-reverse fully charged neutral specials, which fires it away from me. Also, it seems like they're programmed not to airdodge certain moves, such as Cloud's up-air.

Well, other than the fact that the CPUs kind of just seem to exist wrong after you play against humans for so long, I haven't really seem them do anything crazy.
Hm... people do say the CPUs adapt to how you play, but I have to wonder if that really is true. If that were true, then they wouldn't fall for the same traps and setups so many times in a match, especially if it's a 99 stock one.

Yeah some CPUs never learn. Dr. Mario can still spam Dr. Tornado on you, even when you know precisely how to counter it.
