What's a decent download speed and upload speed to be able to play Smash 4 online smoothly?

Apparently this is my upload speed and download speed here.

Pretty much anyone from:

Texas, Canada, New York, Mexico, Japan, Italy, France, Germany, California and Florida.

I pretty much get constant input lag. I'm not sure how to search for previously asked questions..but what should my Upload and Download Speed be to have a decent online 1v1?

Get an ethernet adapter and most of the lag will be gone. if you have one already, there's not much you can do, other than switching to a different ISP

Your ping times (and the distance between you and your opponent) are what matter for online games, and less so up/download speeds. A ping time of 50ms means all inputs are delayed by about three frames (1 frame = 16ms), which is manageable. Past 60-70ms, the delay starts getting really noticeable and off-putting. You can test your connection's ping rate here - if it's past 80ms or so, you're probably better off not playing online unless you can get a better connection. If your ping time is good, you're just being unlucky with match-making, and getting opponents with poor connections on their end.
A LAN adapter would cut out the latency between your console and router, and prevent random lag spikes, but other than that, there's not much you can do on your end (since 16ms is a fairly decent ping time).

Like the others have mentioned, it's mostly dependent on ping time rather than up/down. Finding ways to reduce ping is your best bet. This can include things like running Ethernet, moving your WiiU closer to the router, trying to reduce the amount of walls between your Wii and router, trying your router on 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, trying a different channel, disconnecting other devices, or upgrading your network equipment. As it is though, you should be fine.
