I don't want who you want to make it I want who you think will make it.....based upon something besides hopeful wishes

Really? Sakurai likes characters that are unique, I'd say Olimar has a great shot of making it in.

Yeah, but he had a better shot then Pokemon Trainer. And seeing how Pokemon Trainer isn't in the game, obviously Olimar won't be.

I REALLY believe that repeated threads of the same subject need to stop. Let me introduce you to the search function - it's everyone's friend. Use the search function before making a topic, just to be sure that topic hasn't previously been created. If there is an existing thread, bump it! - that is okay here at Smashboards! If there isn't, then feel free to start the topic.

Since threads like these are already existing, I'd say that this thread isn't far from being closed

He just seems like he has tiny stubby extremities and the only thing that could do damage is his helmet

Kirby and Jigglypuff, among others, have short arms too. Besides, Olimar does punch in the Pikmin games anyway. Of course, he has pikmin to fight with him, too.

Lucario, Petey Piranha, and Midna are some that I think are popular but WILL NOT make the playable cut.

Actually Andrew4j, I think he was saying only Lucario, Petey Piranha and Midna were ones that wouldn't make it.

Anyways, Captain Olimar I think WILL definately make the cut. I'm sure Nintendo is going to use characters from games that actually make them money, with a few retro characters. Pikmin 1 and 2 were awesome games, and if theres a 3 I'm definately going to be first in line to get it. Olimar would be very unique, pulling out Pikmin with down B and using them how he pleases! It's just so **** awesome.
