What will SWF be like in terms of spoilers when Brawl is out?

Will the whole forum be filled with blatant, unmarked spoilers, or will people be calm enough to remember to put spoiler tags around things? Are enough people going to leave the forum for a few weeks for us to not worry? I know I sure won't be able to resist coming on here. What do you guys think the forums will be like in 3 months?

Everyone's going to be busy playing, that's for sure! I'm not even going to sleep when Brawl comes out (goodbye college grades).

I am obsessed with it but I think I will only be able to play it about 4-5 hours a day at most. I just can't play video games longer then an hour and a half now days. Feel like I am wasting too much of my time. I love Twilight Princess but I will get on play it for maybe a couple of hours then get tired and quit. Then pick it up later in the day or the next day.

No spoilers should be allowed in signatures.

If someone has MEGA MAN CONFIRMED and his picture in a sig it wouldn't be fair to people who don't want to know. Even if someone doesn't come to the Brawl board, if they were at a Melee board they could still get info spoiled and that's not fair.

I'm sure some people will accidentally post spoilers in subjects, it's inevitable. But if the mods continue to do a good job, these things should be edited quickly. However, there's always a chance that you'll see something.

No spoilers **** it! Especially when the game is released in Japan, there should be one topic discussing all of the things revealed, and if you don't want spoilers, don't venture inside!

I'd love a topic about unlocking characters and stages without spoilers. As in:

Hidden Character 1: Beat Classic Mode
Hidden Character 2: Beat Classic Mode with Mario
Hidden Character 3: Beat Hundred Man Melee

and:

Hidden Stage 1: Beat every Event Match

I think this would be awesome because I don't want to know EVERY hidden character before the game it out. I, for one, love the element of surprise. However, I'm not gonna kill myself trying hundreds of random combinations in order to find out how to unlock things.

Just my two cents on the matter. I think it would be a cool thread.

Ditto that. There's no way, honestly, that we'll be able to keep spoilers out of the main boards. We can try, but I wouldn't count on having 100% cooperation. People will either be ignorant of the rules or intentionally subvert them, and there's not going to be much we can do.

We can make an effort to keep the blog clean, though. That way you'll be able to get new info (or benign things, like how to unlock people without knowing who they are) without worrying about what people might post.

Ultimately, though, if you're really worried about spoilers, browsing the boards themselves is too big a risk.
