Hey guys!

Time is ticking. With each second that passes by we're getting closer and closer to the release of Smash Ultimate. As of October 21st, there are 47 more days until the game is out, and that is still a pretty decent amount of time. But the window of opportunity for Nintendo to show off the remaining fighters is closing, and it looks like the next Direct won't be until November, especially after Sakurai's comment about character reveals slowing down after Isabelle. As we get closer to launch, our favorite characters that we've been rooting for are going to be on the line. And we don't know for sure if we're even getting DLC; everyone would like to believe we are and some are even assuming we will, but the fact remains that it is still uncertain at this point. What we need to remember, as we get closer to launch, is that whatever ends up happening, it's not the end of the world. Yes, if Nintendo does not announce DLC then this will be the end of Smash Ultimate's speculation period, but we have to accept the outcome regardless.

Sakurai, his team, Bandai Namco, have all worked very hard these last couple of years on this game. They have not only brought back every single Smash Bros. character in history, but most of the stages, music, and even fan-favorite characters like Ridley, King K. Rool, and Simon Belmont. The point is, the developers put their blood, sweat, and tears into this game to make it really live up to its "Ultimate" title. So if launch comes around, or even DLC season goes by, and your favorite character never gets announced, do not get frustrated. Everyone has the right to be disappointed, but I'm hoping that we will remain cool and come to accept whatever outcome ends up occurring. It's going to be a tough fight for these last few slots, but then again, I hope some people aren't looking at this as a war between characters either.

The point of this post is: There are 100% guaranteed going to be disappointed folks around the time of December 7th. We should be respectful and mature to the people whose characters got announced, and we shouldn't take any losses too hard. It doesn't seem like the world is ending anytime soon, so as long as the Earth still has humans crawling all over it, another Smash Bros. is possible and the character you've been pining for may get in that one! Or DLC season may happen... that too!

I will be satisfied with the final roster, even if they announce someone from an obscure series as the final character. As long as Ken makes it in...
