What villians should be in Brawl?

Alot of people want a few more villians in Brawl, but really there are only so many that would fit.

I basically think of the following as the only villians suitable for Brawl.

Bowser
King Dedede
Mewtwo
Ridley
King K. Rool
Bowser Jr.
Ganondorf
Claus (is he a villian?)


If you can think of others that can get in (not just radom ones that teh yous want) then, for crying out crap, mention them! What villans should be in Brawl?

And how many? What should the hero-villian ratio be?

Have you watched any of the Subspace Emissary videos? Even without them, I thought it was common knowledge that they were villains. Well for those two in particular, being a villain doesn't mean they are evil. And perhaps Mewtwo. But they are still villains.

Oh yea, and I forgot Claus. He's on my list but he was a recent addition.

im not sure if mewtwo is a true villian. he's the final boss, and he'll do ANYTHING to beat you, but he can also join your side if your good enough (or have a masterball)

If you expand the definition of "villain" to include "antagonists and rivals," a lot of the corner cases go away. I'm pretty sure that's what most of us mean when we say "villain," anyway.

That’s when you read the Pokédex entries and the journals inside the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island to know that Mewtwo is truly ruthless.

-Team Rocket (in any kind of role, AT, Boss, Character..etc)

nobody else really.. I would like them to focus on unrepresented MAIN CHARACTERS rather than Villains who could easily end up bosses.

Neither is Claus and Mewtwo.

What can you call Claus from a protagonist or antagonist standpoint? He's not an anti-hero like Meta Knight.

As for playable villains:

Bowser
Captain Syrup
Ganondorf
Ridley
K.Rool
Mewtwo
Dedede (arguably, like half the time)


Those are the ones that come to mind.

If Sakurai can accept the fact that his Ike got majorly RNG screwed, so can the fans.

that's true, but is he still when you capture him? once he joins your team he acts like any other pokemon, and unless traded to a worthless, badge-less traitor, doesnt revolt

Ridley would be the most bad @$$ villain in the entire game.
Oh Nightmare from the Nightmare in Dream Land would be cool.

Bowser, King DeDeDe, and Ganondorf (knowing models have been made) are already in the game so no need to list them...
I go for King K. Rool and Ridley!!
