What video game character would you switch your consciousness with, given the chance for one year?

This is more of a sequel to @Crabb's and @Frizz's threads on the concept of switching your consciousness with a Smash Bros. character. This one instead expands on the concept, now going on to any video game character outside Smash.

If switching consciousness, then probably Ness or Shulk. I'd say Lucas, but I don't want to be afraid of my own shadow.
