Wii U primarily when I'm home. 3DS everywhere else. Now I can finally live and breath Smash even on my toilet. If that's not a selling point, I don't know what is.

Both versions. There are plenty of reasons to play both.

Wii U is going to get more votes... But most of the people voting Wii U probably don't own one.

After the Wii U version comes out, I'll probably just use my 3DS version for Smash Run and customizations. And Animal Crossing.

Probably Wii U for multiplayer and 3ds for single player, but by the time the Wii U version comes out I'll probably have exhausted the 3ds single player anyway…

Primarily Wii U, 3DS for trips and such. If the tv is being used, I'll play on my 3DS as well.

U version if I'm at home, 3DS version on the go or if I want to play Smash Run. Y'know. Like normal console vs handheld decisions go when a game is available on both.

The Wii U version. I will probably only play the 3DS version when I'm on trips or when I feel like playing it.

Wii U, definitely. I can't get some friends together and play on a 3DS together and I sure as hell can't convince everyone else to buy a 3DS just so they can play with me.

I will primarily play the Wii U version if I am home, and I will primarily play the 3DS version if I can't be near my Wii U.

I imagine that's like everyone who's getting both's answer.

The Wii U features Off-TV play though, so even when the tv is being used you can still play Smash on the gamepad. :)

Thats how I mostly play all my games that don't require motion controls... It would be amazing if nintendo got the gamepad to be portable...

Urgh I was about to say that! Ninja'd.

That being said, it'll have to be Wii U for me. I don't particularly go on trips or take a 3DS at all with me when I go out. There is a group of guys at my local taco bell who do nothing but play 3DS games all day. Perhaps I'll join them sometime.

I'll play the 3ds version, whenever I am in a waiting period, but the one I will dedicate time to will be he WiiU version.

My brother or cousin usually plays on the Wii U tho, and if they are playing another game other than Smash, I'll at least have the 3DS version.

I'll probably play the 3DS one more simply because I've always been more of a handheld person...but I'll definitely play the Wii U one quite a bit as well.

I'll probably play on the wii u more than likely. Besides smash being one of the reasons I decided to get the console, the wii u version will be better than the 3ds one, imo. Better graphics and more modes will be no doubt available.

Probably the Wii U version, because so far I like the stage selection better, and it's just so ****ing pretty.

As for me, I'm very rarely away from my Wii U so once that version comes out, I'll ignore, if not forget, the 3DS version.

The Wii U version is just so beautiful and is pretty much guaranteed to have the superior stage selection for competitive play.

Since I only had the money to buy one console+version, I picked the WiiU. The longer wait is worth the benefits (way more controller options, HD gameplay, superior stage selection for competitive play, etc.)

At any point I can choose between 3DS and Wii U, I'll most likely choose Wii U, as I get a superior screen, superior visuals, superior controls, and after getting that damn Lan Adapter, superior online.

But there are times where choosing Wii U won't be an option, playing outside, or at a friend's house... Heck, even if I want to play online against a friend, I'll have to go for 3DS, as I'm the only one in my "group" that even owns a Wii U, and I don't imagine any of them (save for one) getting one anytime soon.

If we're talking of strictly "personal" use at home, though, then Wii U is definitely the choice.

I am primarily gonna play 3ds due to portability, and I can play it in bed. Also, I only have one TV at my house, and playing smash capitalizes the living room, which can piss off my relatives. :p

Like a few others have said. Wii U when I'm at home, 3DS when I'm out and about.

Not sure which one would end up being more though, since I do go out regularly.... :T

Wii U primarily like many others..the only time I see me playing the 3ds versions is on trips.

The Wii u version just has so much more going for it that it would be silly not to.

Wii U as well. I'm getting the 3DS version because I just want to play the game early (and because I think the controls are mostly fine from the 10-ish hours I played the demo).

I'll still play the 3DS version when I'm too lazy to get out of bed, though. Or after going to bed, but not quite being able to commit to actually going to sleep just yet.

I'm sticking with the 3ds myself. I have no plans to pick up a Wii U, my friend's getting one, and I'll play it over there, but aside from that, I'm going to stay with the 3ds. and hope the online scene stays golden.
