Playstation Allstars Battle Royale. It needs several costumes for all the characters, being able to move around but not attack on the countdown before the match starts and be able to turn stage hazards off

The last part's already been confirmed for not happening, as well as an implication for the first suggestion. The middle one could still happen. Probably won't, though.

Sakurai said costumes take away character uniqueness, Maybe on the middle but doubt it because the animations, and you always have boring and bland battlefield.

That's like asking Street Fighter to take cues from Mortal Kombat.

The stage hazard idea makes sense until you realize that it would either cause additional conflict in the community about which ones should be turned off or would simply lead to a knee-jerk ban of all stage hazards. I'd rather have more balanced stages overall.

I thought the first one only said no costume customization like Tekken's. I'm hoping at the very least for custom pallets. That, Tekken Tunes, and Virtua Fighter's training mode should be standard. Though most people will probably never use the third one, let alone understand it.

-The first one is not happening (except for extremely rare cases like Wario).
-The second one doesn't seem to be happening. In the Mega Man trailer, we see him doing an animation as if he was entering a stage like in the Mega Man games. So, I think on-screen appearances will make a return.
-The last one is also de-confirmed as well.

The problem with PSABR's alt costumes is that, as the whole game to be honest, it started off from a good idea and then turned out to be **** most of the time.
Dante's costumes featured him simply shirtless (come on, really?) and not his classic appearance.
Zeus ones simply sucked and seemed Playstation 2 levels graphically-wise.

I mained Dante and I can remember how you start with with full clothed Dante, have to unlock shirtless Dante...BUT WOW,IF YOU PRE-ORDER THE GAME YOU GET DANTE WITH A SHIRT HOW COOL IS THAT?!?
At least he had a cool DMC3 Vergil alt color, alt colors were pretty good for most characters.

Not necessarily. There could be the entrances and then that, but I'd imagine it would be too long considering unless all four players have their entrances simultaneously.

Alternate costumes should be handled like Sir Daniels costumes and not like Dante's costumes from PSABR, Make them actually look different instead of removing a piece of clothing.

The reason for Dante's costumes sucking is because of Capcom. They wanted to promote the new DMC game so they wouldnt allow Superbot to use Classic Dante. Superbot stated that they really wanted Classic Dante. Everyone over at the allstars forums was really disappointed at new Dante, but I agree that the allstars alt colors are really good.

Back on topic why wouldn't he allow stage hazards, i think it would add to the competitive stages

I think there's one thing Smash should take from PSAS: the fact that the stages were a mix of two different franchises. I think it'd be really neat to be flying on Hyrule Castle and then having Samus' ship fly into the background. Or be in a Mario stage and FE armies are fighting Koopas and Goombas.
That was the only thing I really liked about PSAS. Everything else sucked.
Alt costumes I can mostly live without. I'd like them, but I won't cry if they aren't there.

I didn't think allstars sucked. I personally liked it way more than brawl. I just love that there are actually combos, but yes it would be awesome to have a mash up with zelda and metroid.

The walking around before a match starts is a bad idea. For one, what's to stop you from walking off the stage? That could get messy, especially since your up special is presumably locked before the match starts. For two, starting right on top of each other, which is what those systems always mean, is dumb and really favors the faster characters a lot. Just think about a match-up like DK vs Fox. Fox is obviously going to be pressing into DK when the match starts, DK will have no way to prevent that, and yeah, that's not even vaguely fair to DK to have to deal with that the second the match starts since DK has nothing that can challenge Fox's fast attacks at point blank so right from the start DK's starting on the losing end of strong offensive momentum.

The current way things work is pretty good; the only change I'd make would be giving each team for doubles a dedicated pair of spawn points as sometimes the way they get matched up can lead to varying game start advantages (when there's one spawn point away from the others like on Frigate, the teammate of the isolated person starting in-between the members of the other team kinda sucks). That's a small change though, and the game will be fine with or without it.

Urgh. I hope Smash never goes that route. I prefer my stages to represent one thing and one thing alone; I hate the mashup stages in PSASBR.

For that matter, there's really nothing I like about PSASBR, and absolutely nothing I want Smash to take from it.
