What online features are you hoping for?

I'd like to see:
Spectator mode
A replay/follow channel (similar to SF4 where you can follow a favorite player's matches)
Ranked matches
Player matches
Online Training
DLC (alternate costumes, maybe new characters?)

Oh, and it would be nice to have all the options available in local play to be available online. I don't like being restricted.

I'd like to be able to become friends with players that I meet online. I found it rather disappointing when I had a fun online Brawl match against good players, and then I could never ever possibly see any of them again because there's no way to friend each other or even communicate.

Searching for matches 1v1's 2v2's FFA's etc with all the settings to be customized. Being able to just add someone as a friend on the fly, chat. And probably some other stuff I can't think on right now lol.

Easy add FFA, better connection and no more 2 minute bull**** for our matches! Of course theres much more I'd ask for. But that's just for starters!

having more option for how you want too battle, like having more competitive 1vs1 or 2vs2 with no items and a rank system (maybe) and a party mode of some sort for anyone that just want to play and have fun. Also would be great if you could add people you meet on the spot.

3 Minute matches instead of 2 minutes matches. Also, I don't want CPUs to randomly show up in groups that aren't full. That's reffering to Online with Anyone of course.

Hope Nintendo don't screw this up. Been playing Tekken Tag 2 online a bit on Wii U and whilst it lacks features I'd like, it's still enjoyable.

They can leave out all of the other nonsense until they are 100% certain that they are delivering a smooth gameplay experience.

This game is being made for the Wii U and 3DS... get with the times.

I'd love to see some type of advanced rotate mode. You know the mode that nobody used in brawl? Have that as part of a room, that way more than 4 people can join. Let's say a room can hold up to 8 players and four can play at a time. The one that loses is put on spectate to watch the matches until he or she drops and then a person from spectate just rotates into the spot. Maybe I'm aiming high with 8, but I hope you can get the idea. Better "smash with anybody" options would be great also. 2 mins just isn't enough. Just some starter ideas.
