I'm typing this all in hopes of creating a sort of "one-stop shopping" place for knowing what the Ice Climbers are all about and, more so then that, what it takes to be a good IC player. It can also double as a help thread for those that can't quite seem to get what they need from the various IC guides scattered about the forums.

This thread does sort of go hand-in-hand with the talk about reorganizing the IC forum, but it should act more as a central hub for the information. But as of right now, I don't want to post to much, since I'm expecting this thread to flop. But if it does happen to work, I'd like to include a list of what it takes to be a competant, experianced, deadly IC player along with the skilled IC players offering tips to those that ask instead of a new thread being created every other day, or maybe even linking to other threads that asked those questions. Then we take those links and that information, complie it in this post and we have a general thread of what IC knowledge we can offer.

Yay or nay? Changes or suggestions? We'll see where it goes

peace

what's the point of a help thread; that's what the whole forum is for -_-

why cram a whole forum's worth of posts in one thread?

the other thing you're proposing is a guide, but fine; if you want input on a guide, you have to start it off with your own stuff first

eh, fair enough.

I was sorta pipe-dreaming that day and had wanted to say something on this forum about what it takes to be a good IC player, which was really my main intention, but then it didn't turn out right in writing so I sorta chilled and waited to see what people said.

I'll probably let it die then, simply because I dont have much to add. Oh well, neat idea, bad delivery.
