For some odd reason I keep repeatedly seeing one single person who joins a group, just to somehow infinitely idle at the character select screen. They've got to still be there and hacking, or their connection went horribly awry. Either way, this is unbearably annoying. I'll see several people join the group, just to get frustrated and drop back out after several minutes of waiting. This has happened about eight times tonight to this minute. Can't a person just join a basic brawl?

it's a bug in the online servers. It fixes itself eventually. I hate it too.
