I'm looking to unlock all the cosmetic options for Mii Fighters. Playing against the computer in any form is only ever frustrating, though. What's the best way you've found for unlocking headgear and outfits?

If you have the means to do so, I find training your amiibo cashes in a lot of Mii outfits.
You can also never go wrong with trophy rush. Just spam DK's down-b and you should be smooth sailing from there.

I don't have any amiibos, though I want some! Samus, Rosalina, Peach, Mega Man, Sonic, I'd love to have them all sitting on my stand right beneath the TV!

I'll try DK in Trophy Rush. Previously I just used Ganondorf.

The amiibo thing seems like the most efficient way. But I don't have any, and haven't really wanted to buy any thus far...

So I farm Crazy Orders with a special custom build. Take any character, give them Homerun Bat, Quick Batter, and First Striker or KO healer/Vampire equipment. Make sure you focus on metal battles if you can, they're really easy to kill. Giant battles can be risky if you have a low defense stat. Free for alls/team battles can be time consuming/risky because of the randomness factor. But i can usually get to turn 50 or so using this method. Im pretty sure i have all custom hats and outfits unlocked.

Good luck on your quest for custom parts!

Master Orders works well.

Crazy Orders and Target Blast worked best for me in terms of efficiency. You can also try All-Star on Hard.

Trophy Rush doesn't award many customs per session, and rarely are any of these headgear. It is the best mode for trophies, though, especially if you use Palutena's Heavenly Light.

Ah, okay. I'll give those a try! Thanks!

Any idea how you're supposed to complete challenges like a combo of 50 in training? The most I can seem to get is a few and then it resets. There must be someone in particular to use, I'm guessing.

For training mode, set off a chain of smart bombs. I used Hyrule Temple, though other stages will work as well.
