What's the general angle/positon i should be in to land the spike? Heel to head doesn't work so well. Vids would help if they were high quality.

I found that doing a RAR off the stage into a Dair with them about the area of my back is the most likely way to spike somebody. The spot is somewhere around Luigi's back, so they have to be more level with you then below you.

What most said above.

And make sure it doesn't hit on the initial frame, maybe? I dunno; there's so many theories on how to spike with Luigi's DAir, but all we know for sure is the fact that it's a VERY SMALL hitbox.

The butt thing I've tried; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...maybe it's the character size, but eh.

Well, I've consistantly found the spot to spike with Luigi's Dair on the sandbag, it's in the small area between his butt and his hand as he twirls.

Playing around with a lot of Dairs, there is also a second spot on the Dair that will spike, and this one is in front of luigi, above his extended feet and in front of his knee, at least, but I'm not as sure on the specifics, the thing is, both of the spike sweetspots get "covered up" or crowded by the rest of Luigi's Dair move, it's hard to hit with just that area and not end up hitting with some other part. It can be messed up by the smallest things.

True that. I always try to pull that down taunt off on my friend and it never works. I'll get him someday though and it will be epic as f***.
