What is the best way to coil a SSBU GCN controller?

Hi! I need to know what the best method for coiling/wrapping up the GCN controller that was made for Smash Ultimate. The method found in this video leaves extra space at the end of the wire, so it has enough wire left to fit the entire controller into the loop but, not enough to wrap it one more time. Has anyone discovered a way to coil this new controller?
