What if you could configure your Specials?

I saw a post about why Shieks Side-B wasn't Bouncing Fish and I thought about this.
What if like your controls, you could swap your directional specials around?
For example:
:4sheik: Neutral: Needles
Side-B: Bouncing Fish
Up-B: Vanish
Down-B Deku nut(?)
:4link:Neutral: Gale Boomerang
Side-B: Bow
Up-B: HYAHHH!
Down-B: Bomb
:4marth:Neutral: Dancing Blade
Side-B: Shield Breaker
Up-B: Dolphin Slash
Down-B: Counter

Idk, just a thought :V If you could, what will you change about your character?

Definitely an interesting idea. Maybe then I'd stop using the stUPID GRENADE AS SHIEK AND FAST FALLING GAH

I have never configured any controls besides turning tap jump off but your example of Marth's shield breaker being set to Side-B seems pretty cool.

Not in your castle.
Yes, this would probably be game-changing to set counter moves to side-B or neutral B if a player desires to do that in order to input counter faster.

Doc/Luigi Tornado on Neutral Special might be useful, since you would be less likely to fast-fall for a moment during the input. The question is whether having pills/fireballs on Down Special would pose a problem for approaches.

Characters with projectiles on Side Special might appreciate it if they were moved to Neutral Special instead, since that would make it easier to fire without accidentally moving forward. Zelda might appreciate it, for example. Problem is that many projectile Side Specials have different effects if you input them as a Smash Special. For example: Samus/Mii Gunner, Mii Swordfighter, Duck Hunt, and I think even King Dedede.

This would mean fox could shine while dashing, also dash counters and ZSS could dash into Up-B. Ganon gets running Wizard Toes and DK could cancel dash into Kongnado or Giant Punch... seems like this would break a lot of characters

Edit: Also monado cycle on Shulk while moving would be a thing
