What if there was a capcom pro tour like series for melee?

I was watching some videos of the capcom pro tour, and it really interested me how this would be for melee. For those of you who dont know what it is, the capcom pro tour is a point based league(I guess), and the 32 with most points play in a bracket to see who the best is. What do you think would happen?

lol yeah I was in 2nd grade. I don't know what would happen, but it would depend on the pros wanting to keep traveling all the time.
