what if i want to say samus?

say i use samus's final smash. usually this would cause me to become zamus but what if i want to stay as normal samus?

According to SSB dojo once you use the final smash you lose your armour. But they haven't said anything about if you die do you come back as normal samus? I guess only time will tell.
