Na, I think that is just him yelling, but it does sound similar to 'I hate you'.

Well, it's actually Great Heaven, but they changed it to Aether in ours so yeah.

It's the same, worded differently. Roy said, "For those I protect, I must fight".

But in seriousness, I actually wasn't aware that he just said "Great AEther" XD. I hope they change that in the American version, it bothers me for some reason when characters say what's pretty obviously going on. Kind of like in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TV show, where they would make up names of attacks of all the cards. That bothered me to no end. It's probably one of the main reasons why I quit the show and the game (other than the game being awful).
