What do you guys think about this (provisional) tournament system?

Still double elimination, four stock eight minutes, with second set GF if necessary.

However, this is how the set would be played out, which overhauls quite a bit.

• First of all, the lower-seeded player gets first port for the first match.
• Bans start first by banning stages out of a list of 5 (regular stage list minus PokéStadium). Players ban one stage each in alternating order until one stage remains. This is the stage to be played on for the match.
• Then each player bans one character, starting with player on last port. This aspect might be removed if the format rolls out.
• Then each player picks their character, starting with first port. Match plays out as normal.
• The sequence as detailed above repeats. The loser of the last match then gets first ban, and the option for first port.
