What do we think about Glitch?

Just saw the news from VGBootCamp about this Smash 4 only tourney. Made me curious if we think this is something that's necessary for Smash 4 to further evolve or do you disagree that it even is a "side event" at this point. Personally I am glad to see it if only because it might encourage more people to try out Smash 4 where they may have registered for Melee before, but if I remember correctly, one major or another recently had more Smash 4 entrants than Melee so who knows...

I'm not too big on tournament knowledge, but from my PoV it being a Smash4 only tournament is not a bad thing and I will agree that it might bring in Melee players, or what have you...
But at the same time it might be a slight problem for people who only watch Melee (sadly) saying ''I don't like watching Smash4. It's boring." which irritates me but I digress.
I've seen some tournaments now hold both Melee and Smash4 so you get best of both. I haven't seen a 'big' Smash tournament hold only Smash4 (the best of my knowledge), while seeing at least Melee there - but not for a tournament.

Only time time will tell, I guess...

I'm just glad that Glitch is having a customs side tournament. I think that having more Sm4sh only events will be good for the other metagames like Customs, 3 v 3 and maybe even Smooth Landing Heavy Gravity assuming that they get enough traction eventually.
